SNOW

I do not like snow,  you humans like it, but you don't have to do your "business" outside.  Just image,  trying to do what you need to do and the snow or rain is coming down on your face, it is cold and you have to go.  I try to hold it as long as I can, but when you gotta go you gotta go.

Then when you try to go back inside, your "human" who let you outside is not there!.  Where are they,  in the human bathroom,  where it is nice and warm.  You just stand there and shiver and pray that they don't forget about  you. Then when they let you inside, they are upset that you are wet and will get water/snow on their floor.  So you have to stand there and they go get a towel and then dry you off.  I just run and get under the bed.

Well, I guess it isn't too bad,  I could be outside, alone and cold and have no family.  I guess that what us fortunate house dogs have to put up with. 

Anyway I am grateful.

Great Day

Well, my mom finally left the house today for several hours.  She has been home the last few days cleaning and it is really bothering me.  I watched her leave today and then waited,about 30 minutes staring out the window, but she never came back.  Well I ran my parents bed and jumped on it and took a nap.  I heard a noise and realized it was my sister (human),  she was up and getting ready for work.  So I laid back down and when she left, I went to the window to make sure my mom wasn't home and got on the back of the couch and slept until she came home.


Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!,  what a GREAT DAY it was.

Hope she goes somewhere tomorrow.

She has to go

OK, I am glad that my mom is no longer working, but she has got to find something to do OUTSIDE the house.  She has interrupted my sleep for the last five days.  She cleans and cleans,  the vacuum is running, dusting causing me to sneeze.  She goes from room to room, to the garage, outside and of course I have to follow her to see what she is doing.  This is causing me much anxiety as I love to sleep, as this is my favorite past time.

She is at the store right now, so I am gonna sign off and get in a quick nap.

The Day after Christmas

Well, I got some new chew toys and some home made dog treats.  My friend Trooper came over and we played and played.  I was really tired, so I went to bed early last night and will probably sleep most of today.

My mom put this sweater on me yesterday.  I really don't like it, why do humans think that dogs want to "play dress up".  Cats don't have to wear silly looking outfits.  I am a dog, an animal...I lick my butt and smell things on the ground  that would make a human  gag and you want to put a silly looking sweater on me, come on lady.   The things I have to put up with to have a good home and someone to love me.

Well I gotta go take a nap.........so I will see you later

HELLO

Hi, there....well I just got up from my afternoon nap and thought I would blog for awhile.  My family is not home yet, but they will be here soon...so I need to hurry.  I wish it was Saturday, my dad takes me to 7-11 and gets me a donut.  I really like the blueberry ones.  I have to do sit and ask for my donut before I get it.  Sometimes it makes me mad, but then how many dogs live like I do.  I am so thankful that I was adopted.

Please adopt a pet from your local animal shelter.ASPCA
